Early Career Local Public Health Professionals Needed for a Focus Group

Human in Common is  working in collaboration with the MA Department of Public Health, Office of Local and Regional Health to develop a website for local public health departments to post job openings and career readiness and development materials. 

They are conducting a focus group and are looking for early career professionals of a range of social identities including people who identify as LGBTQ, disabled and/or people of color to participate. The focus group will gather feedback related to participants’ understanding of local public health, interest in seeking new local public health jobs, and experiences of searching for jobs online. Their goal is to make this website accessible and inclusive for people of diverse social identities who are looking for careers in local public health. Responses will only be viewed by Human In Common (diversity consultants) and Redfin Solutions (website developers) for the purpose of conducting this focus group and creating an inclusive local public health website. All responses will be deleted upon completion of the project. 

The focus group will meet remotely on Tuesday, October 3rd, from noon-1:00pm.
